Hello it's Josue and Lissette, reporter and photographer, reporting for the MHGEMS Informer club. An exciting event took place on Sunday the 6th of December. It was the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Downing Park in Newburgh NY.
Mrs.Claire Murphy, one of our music teachers directed the 3rd grade chorus and they sang beautiful Christmas carols. Mrs. Murphy had other students from different grade levels help the 3rd graders sing.
It was a very cold evening but it was a lot of fun as well!
