Day of the Dead By Valerie C and Madeline T.

The third graders in Mrs. Williams' art class are celebrating El Dia De Los Muertos which is also called the Day of the Dead! This Mexican holiday takes place on November 1st and 2nd. This holiday is meant to celebrate family members, relatives, friends, and other people who have passed away. Mrs. Williams had her third grade class decorate sugar skulls, which are used on that holiday. They decorated the sugar skulls using lines, patterns, and symmetry, using colorful stencils. We hope you enjoy the artwork as much as we did!

  1. That's a little spooky to me, but looks like we have some artists among us.
